Day 1: Arrival in Cairo Arrive at Cairo Airport where Star Shine Tours representative will meet, greet and assist you. Then transfer to your hotel. Our Egyptologist tour guide will provide you with a short brief about your Ancient Egypt tour itinerary along the way to the hotel. Arrive at your hotel to check in and have an overnight.

Day 2: Great Pyramids, Sphinx, Saqqara, and Memphis Day Tour Star Shine Tours private qualified Egyptologist tour guide will pick up in the morning by a deluxe air-conditioned vehicle. Your first stop will be at Giza Necropolis that contains the Great Pyramids of Giza; the Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), along with the smaller pyramids of Khafre (Chephren) and Menkaure (Micerinus). Decipher the secrets of the Great Sphinx of Giza that guards the Pyramid of Khafre and granite temple beside it known as Temple Valley. Move from Giza Necropolis to the Necropolis of Saqqara (also Sakkara) in which you can find the Step Pyramid of Djoser (also Zoser). Pharaoh Zoser was the first king of Dynasty III, Old Kingdom. Enjoy the superstructure of the Step Pyramid with six steps built in six stages of limestone blocks. Lunch will be served in a good quality Egyptian restaurant. Afterwards, you will be taken to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt which serves a number of the most important archaeological finds over the millennia. Then our representative will transfer you to Giza Railway Station to take sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner will be provided onboard and have an overnight.

Day 3: Nile Cruise Embarkation, High Dam of Aswan, Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple of Isis Have breakfast aboard the train then meet our representative in Aswan Railways Station. Star Shine Tours professional Egyptologist tour guide will take you on a private guided trip and excursion day tour in Aswan in which you will visit the High Dam (also High Dam of Aswan) which was inaugurated in 1970 with 10 years construction process. Transfer to Nile Cruise Embarkation to check in before lunch. After lunch-time, visit the majestic Philae Temple of Isis which is one of the magnificent masterstroke temples on Agilkia Island in the River Nile as well as the Unfinished Obelisk which is the largest known ancient one and was intended to complement the so-called Lateran Obelisk. Transfer back to your Nile cruise to have an overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Nile Cruise, Abu Simbel Temple, Aswan (Optional) After breakfast, Star Shine Tours representative will pick you up from your Nile cruise to travel by an air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel Village (approx 300 kilometers, 3 hours driving). Pay a visit to Abu Simbel Temples, known as the Nubian Monuments, are located on the western bank of Lake Nasser. The Great Temple at Abu Simbel was dedicated to Amun, Ra-Horakhty and Ptah gods, as well as Ramesses himself. The Small Temple (also temple of Hathor and Nefertari) was dedicated to the goddess Hathor and Ramesses II’s chief consort, Nefertari. The entire site was relocated 65 meters higher and 200 meters back from the river between 1964 and 1968. Temples of Abu Simbel relocation is one of the greatest challenges of archaeological engineering in history.
Then you will be transferred back to Aswan. Lunch will be provided aboard your cruise. Afternoon tea and dinner will be serves on board then set sailing to Luxor to have an overnight onboard.

Day 5: Nile Cruise in Luxor, Kom Ombo Temple and Temple of Edfu Enjoy the morning sailing to Luxor, the site of Ancient Egyptian city of Thebes. First visit will be made to Temple of Kom Ombo located on high grounds overlooking the Nile. Temple of Kom Ombos is a staggering double temple built during the Ptolemic Dynasty as a dedication to two sets of gods, Haroeris and Sobek. From there, sail to Edfu (also Idfu), the site of the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus. Enjoy your lunch then take a tour in Edfu Temple of Horus (also Known as Edfu Temple). Continue sailing to Luxor. Take an unforgettable dinner on board and have an overnight in Esna (Tasenet).

Day 6: Nile Cruise, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple After having breakfast, our Egyptologist tour guide will take you in an awe-inspiring day to visit the Temple of Karnak, the greatest example of worship in history all over the world built as a dedication to the god Amon. Then have a sacred tour in the Temple of Luxor, one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. It was built by Amunhotep III during the 18th Dynasty, the New Kingdom. Lunch will be served on board as well as the afternoon tea. Enjoy your last dinner in Luxor and have an overnight.

Day 7: Nile Cruise Disembarkation, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon and Hurghada Breakfast will be served aboard your Nile cruise then disembarkation and check out. Today you will discover the west bank of Luxor by visiting the Valley of the Kings where 18th and 20th Dynasties powerful Pharaohs were buried in the Theban necropolis. Then move beneath Deir el Bahari cliffs to Valley of the Queens where wives of Pharaohs were buried. Visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the incomparable monuments of ancient Egypt. On the way back to Luxor east bank you will visit the Colossi of Memnon, a twin statues depict Amenhotep III exist since 1350 BC. At the end of this historical tour, travel to Hurghda by driving a private air-conditioned vehicle for approx 2.5 hours. Arrive and check in your hotel at Hurghada on the Red Sea coast.

Day 9: Air Flight from Hurghada / Old Cairo, Saladin Citadel of Cairo, Egyptian Museum, and Khan El Khalily Bazaar After taking breakfast in your Hotel, check out and meet our representative to transfer you to Hurghda Airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. meet our tour guide to start your city tour visit one of the most important and oldest museums in the world, the Egyptian Museum (Museum of Egyptian Antiquities) to savor pharaonic masterpieces such as the Lid of the Coffin of Maakare, Sedan Chair of Queen Hetepheres, The Goddess Selket, and the Sculpture of Amenhotep Son Hapu. Move from the museum to Old Cairo so as to the Islamic Saladin Citadel of Cairo and the famous alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali. Take lunch in a local restaurant after which you will visit Old Cairo Islamic areas. From Islamic to Coptic areas where you see the Hanging Church then Ben Ezra Synagogue (also El-Geniza Synagogue or Synagogue of the Palestinians) which is considered to be among the Jewish heritage in Egypt. Eventually, have a shopping opportunity in one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East, Khan El Khalili with 2000 little shops. Transfer back to your hotel and have an overnight in Cairo.
